Thanks to Michael's post Pioneer Australia are now on the right wavelength & are express posting me a manual.Where else but on an excellent site such as this would I have solved one of life's tormenting problems? Certainly not on the US Pioneer site where it appears people have been banned from speaking to customers. Being in backward Aussie land has advantages sometimes. The Aussie Pioneer site has real people there one can talk to!!! Problem is to have them knowing what one is talking about. Thanks to Michael that problem is solved & guess what? The parts are in stock. My faith in humanity is restored.
Time to stop raving.
