Projection video is not as straightforward as you might think. This household jumped in heavily last year & it took me 6 months to get a top picture on some formats.Also note that the Sharp you are referring to is designed for power point etc presentations from computer. How well it could handle the moving image is a different proposition altogether.
Bottom line, there is no cheap way to good video. Most people are better off spernding dollars on a bigger TV, maybe a rear projection one, than on a front projector. The best quality front projectors have 3 guns not one like your Sharp. Anyway, I've not been terribly impressed with Sharp's quality - their hi fi VCR I owned some years ago had a tuner with obviously poorer resolution than the other Panasonic (National). They might be better now but be careful. Buiying sight unseen in an area you are ill informed about does not produce bargains, only heart aches!! Sorry to be so negative but you did ask.
