Does anyone have any experience with this piece? I think the model number is MD10. It decodes DD AC3 and DTS, but outputs a 2 channel mix "virtual surround" signal. How effective is this? I have heard some of the "virtual surround" features on receivers, and have not been impressed. Most remind me of the old sonic holography built into Carver pre-amps - to me, they sound unnatural, forced and inconsistent. On the other hand, I find it hard to believe that Magnum Dynalab would put their name on a complete piece of junk. What is the story here?
