Using 5 Channel Amp for Center and Rear Only

I have a 5 Channel Carver 505 Amp and I am wanting to use it for the center and 2 rear channels only (run only 3 channels). I don't see a problem but was wanting to run the idea past the "experts". The manual does not discuss this use, and Carver is not around to ask anymore, so any help will be appreciated. Thanks
