I haven't heard the J&Ms first hand, but I have heard that they are a bit bright. B&K makes VERY warm components, so I think it would be a good match. However, if 80% of your listening is music, I HIGHLY recommend the Classe' SSP-25. Although It's priced at only $3000, sonically and build quality wise competes with the twice the price Krell, Proceed, and Theta pre/pros. Definately high-end, and a lot better than Parasound or B&K. The Classe' is one of the best pre/pros I've ever heard for music, and sounds excellent for HT use. Good luck!
