I would go for the 5 Super Ones and a sub. This way you can use a decent receiver (Denon, Onkyo, and NAD work well) to drive them all, whereas the VT-1.2s need a flagship receiver or a lower powered separate amp. Also, you won't get much information below 35hz with the VT-1.2. Regarding Super Zeros, these are not a good choice for HT, as they only go down to 100hz, and even then, the 4.5" woofer is straining at normal HT levels. Good luck!
