Without more details that would be erroneous thinking.The Rotel does have THX Ultra certification which I believe does include rigorous low impedance requirements.
Having heard one of these Rotels in action driving a full set of Martin Logans, I don't believe power into 4 ohms is an issue, though it should be disclosed.
