Just make sure you like the set's picture. Keep in mind that most sets are misadjusted at the store, so the one that looks best isn't necessarily going to be the best in your home when properly calibrated. Differences between component and s-video are pretty subtle on 27" and smaller direct view sets. I don't know about 32" direct view. Component vs. s-video differences are clearer on my 6 ft. front projection set-up.
