Connection Question

199.217.137.34

I have just replaced my 8-year old HT processor (Yamaha DSP E-1000) with an Yamaha DSP A-1. Yes, I know, Yamaha came out with the RXV-1. Well, anyways, in the old days, you connect the audio out of the LD player and into the processor with a pair of RCA interconnects. I think the A-1 has a digital input, so you can use a digital cable to connect the two. Does that mean, no more RCA interconnects between the two units for the Audio?
