I have to disagree with your choice to leave the Krell HTS for anything else, but if you have gone this route, you might consider the Meridian as well. I've seen used 565/562V combos for about $2500 and they are better for music than Lexicon and just as good for HT applications (I have had the Lex, Merid and now the Krell HTS). Do be careful about the Lex if your use is music at all -- I've only rarely heard anything positive about it for music with the exception of the new MC-1 and it was only given moderate support on this line. My feeling is that if it can't work musically, then why would you want it playing movies unless they are silent ones. At least audition a lex in your system before you decide.
