If I hook up the cable to any of my tv's, I get grey diagonal lines that move from right to left in the background of my picture.
These distorions can be seen even when I am any video source. I have a Panasonic, with two AV's in's and an S-Video input. If the cable is connected to any device, that is in turn connected to any of these inputs; this interference shows up everywhere, even if the video source I am viewing has no direct contact with the cable. Once the cable is given a path to my tv, I cannot avoid the ditstortion it causes.Could the cable be picking up some line noise, and transferring that to my TV? Could the cable signal be too strong, too weak; thus causing such distortion? Do any of you have any advice that would help combat this problem?
This is a very annoying problem for me. Any help would be appreciated.
