Video Lag Behind Audio

Hi,
My home theater system resides on two racks, with the vcr and dvd sitting below the tv on one rack, and the rest of the processing on another rack. I am sending the video via a short cable to the tv, and to a Theta CasaNova via a 15' rca cable.
However, the audio lags behind the video. I estimate it is near 10ms behind.
Without messing up the speaker delays, is there any other way to sync up the audio and video. I am asking here because I know there must be someone with a projector at one end of the room, and components situated similar to mine.
