Re: What is a "Receiver" with video switching incorporated called?

It is an AV receiver that has multiple video outputs that necessitate an internal switching device to let the user choose which video source to use at a given time. It is usually associated with componant video from both a digital satellite receiver and a digital DVD signal source. There is even a digital VHS that just hit the market. Why I don't know? You have to step up into the $800 price range at least to get this feature. Onkyo and Yamaha both make one in this price range. Dennon is at about $1000 and Marantz is much more.
