Thanks to everyone who has helped me before. Now I have a new problem. My dts receiver will not recognize the dts signal from my dvd player (labeled dts digital out).
I have an ONKYO TX-DS575X receiver and a Panasonic DVD-C220 player. The equipment is linked by a Monster Digital DVD coaxial cable; in addition, I have RCA cables attached as the manual says.
I have scoured the manuals for both pieces of equipment and toyed around for hours trying to get it to work. All I can get is a Dolby Digital signal. When I choose the dts option on DVDs' all I get is silence from my speakers (followed by obscenities from my mouth)
I have 2 fronts, two rears and a center speaker, but no powered sub. Is the lack of a sub causing my woes? I would greatly appreciate any possible explainations or solutions.
Thanks, blue
