B&K Reference 20 & 30 pre/pro question

I have a reference B&K 20 processor in-house for demo for a few days, actually I bought it with a one week return priveledge if not synergystic with my system.
I'm wondering if the only thing I'm lacking by not buying the reference 30 is the ability to do 6.1 or 7.1 (limiting to Dolby Digital and DTS)?
In other words, sonically is everything else the same between the two in all modes and inputs?
