Hi,

I do not know what you mean with a "mageta box" (I know that mageta is a one the fundamental color in the printing industry and it is video color diagram).
But I do know that some pc DVD player need a converter to able to connect to teh TV, this seems to be some kind of protection, to incite people to buy regular DVDs.
