Processor Choice Help: Proceed vs Classe vs ??

I used to have Proceed AVP and trying to simplify my component and downgraded to Denon 3801 - BIG BIG mistake. My HT setup now sound horrible (reason 3801: 6 channel input for Dvd-audio/SACD)
Now i need help choosing another processor preferrable with 6 channel input - Should i go back to Proceed vs Classe SSP25/SSP75 vs Anthem AVM1 vs Parasound 2500 vs Sunfire Theater Grand vs Lexicon???

Would appreciate any input on those who has exp with above gear - i actually used to have Lex DC1 and the Proceed i thought is better!!
