Receiver upgrade question

Hi all, I am thinking hard about upgrading my receiver from the Marantz SR 7000 in favor of something that can handle a little more speaker. I am thinking of buying some Aliante Stile speakers, which are rated at 6 ohms, and I don't think the Marantz can handle them. Anyway, I have a friend who recently purchased the Arcam AVR100, and I think it's a great receiver for the $. I also like the Denon AVR-3801as it supports the new DTS-ES surround formats and is a little more powerful than the Arcam. I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on either of these units, and any alteratives I might consider. Any comments would be helpful and appreciated.
