ok, i have had it with this piece of garbage bose set-up that i
have right now. i plan on selling my whole deal and starting fresh
(kind of, ill keep my tv, wires and tv stand). so here is the
question. i need to buy a receiver, 6 speakers and a multi disc dvd player
while keeping it under $2500. now for the tricky part, i would say
that my preferences are 60% music and 40% ht. i also have a
weird room set-up, 17' long 14' wide 8'high with a giant opening
in the middle of the room for a foyer. the room is divided down
the middle with half for living space (home theater) and the other
half for dining. i have been considering receievers like nakamichi
av-10 or one of the nad models because of reviews that i have
seen regarding their strong 2 channel music performance. i
understand that i need to audition, i just would be interested to
hear what you fine folks recommend auditioning and what
components sound good together. the only other limitation i have
is that i dont have room for monster floor standers, i could
probably fit ones that are around 10" wide but any more than
that would get hairy. thanks advance for your advice, i truly
elieve that the information on this forum helps many people from
making costly mistakes.
