Hello all,Could anyone tell me why is it that about 30% of all DVD's I seem to play will either lock up the player and freeze the picture, or freeze-go - freeze go? Fast forwarding to the next chapter and reversing may fix it but generally not, every DVD always has a trouble spot. I'm surprised when a DVD can play all the way through without crashing. I've a Apex AD-600A - I've always heard good reviews about this machine.
Secondly, I'm in a PAL country and I've noticed that NTSC encoded DVD's never have a person's speech in sync with their mouth. Is this something to do with the differing frame rates?
Thanks,
John.
