Today I turned on my receiver to listen to some cds, and my receiver only functioned in 3 channel stereo and in stereo modes. I turned it off hoping the problem would go away, but it didnt. I flipped through each a/v input to see if the problem occured for all components, and it did. When I went back to cd, the digital optical input no longer worked. My receiver is a Mitsubishi M-VR800. I only had it for about a month and it already kicked over on me. Should I take it back to get fixed or replaced? I've heard a lot of bad things about this receiver, and mine died in a month so I'm questioning whether or not I want to keep it. It doesnt have a lot of features that I want. It doesnt have component inputs, 5.1 inputs, no DTS and np phono input. I was already looking for a new receiver for me to buy in the future so I dont know if it would be worth it to get it fixed. Also I bougt the floor model so it only costed me $300. If I return it and get my money back, I wont have enough money to buy a new receiver. Well If anyone has some input for me about what I should do, PLEASE help me. This is making me freak out.
PS. Its funny as soon as I upgraded all my cables and bought new PSB Image3LRs, my receiver had to die. hahaha..oh man.
