How to disabling the regional code restriction in my DVD player?

Does anyone know how to do this in a Sony DVP-7700 so I can play a region 3 DVD? I just received a "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" DVD as a gift, except it has a Region 3 coding. (My player only plays Region 1 DVDs from US)
