I just bought a Sony digital projection 53" TV and a
Pioneer 434 DVD player. The 434 does progressive
scan and I used it in that mode for a couple of weeks.
I had others complain about the picture being fuzzy (very subtle),
especially on older DVD movies. I was stumped ????
So I turn off progressive scan as a joke and used interlaced mode.
Guess what happened ? Clean and crisp images, night and day,
progressive scan sucked bad. Must be that Pioneer DVD player?
...LOL....Make sure you TRY out your equipment FIRST at the store before you
buy into all the HYPE !!!! BEWARE !!!!
