In our (very complex) system the Philips PRONTO replaces 10 remotes. Using a computer you can design your own buttons and labels. There is a bulletin board which has lots of helpful info on -http://www.prontoedit.com/
The best feature (which took me a while to drop to) is the use of macros to do a series of operations. Using the one macro button it will start the system up ready to play DVDs, another button can be programmed to start the system up to your favourite cable TV program etc. Similarly, buttons can be set up to switch everything off.
