Making S-Video cables, do I need to use shield and twist the wire as with Jon's IC recipe ?

I purchased Mogami cable,looks like zip cord, so , I will use two lengths per cable. Do I need to use copper braid and ground it to cable connector. Also would I be better off twisting these wires prior to adding the shield.
