The new (April) Popular Mechanics has a brief article with 2 photos of an interesting new RCA TV, model L50000: 50" 16/9 screen, 100 lbs, 18" deep, using a new technology called LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon), also refered to as a "light engine". Supposed to be a great picture at a reduced cost compared to current modes. Does anyone know anything about this set or the LCOS system?
