I'm probably going to get myself shot down in flames for this, so do check it out for yourself, but I believe that copper is a better electrical conductor than silver is anyway. I would always recommend well made, well screened leads. I've never had any trouble following that philosphy. If you have component input or RGB input use these as they do make major difference to your picture quality, far better than S video connections or standard composite.
