In my none surround setup, I have the DVD player in two channel from 5.1 mode. with the two channels going to the TV. The sound volume from the dvd is 1/2 the level of all other sources. So I cranck up the vol on the Sony 36XBR to 80% of max for movies. Any idea what is wrong? I use the audio out jacks from a Technics DVD-a10 direct to the TV. I might try the 5.1 main pair?? The DVD player menu is set to two LARGE main in the 5.1 setup. Thanks in advance.
