Poll - - Experiences Integrating PC's with HT's

Am curious if and how people have integrated computers into their home theater, whether it be to surf the net, play DVD's, utilize the PC's CDR capabilities, or other functions.
IMHO, I think it will be another couple of years before the HT and PC technologies "converge", but am curious as to others' experiences. Here's my poll:
(a) What equipment you tried and how you hooked it up,
(b) How well did the PC integrate and HT integrate (or, did the addition add some truly new functionality to the HT, or is the PC acting as just another component, like the VCR, DVD player, etc.),
(c) What problems you experienced, and,
(d) Wouldn't it be simpler to buy a dedicated CDR, DVD player, etc?
(e) Would you recommend others add a PC now, or wait a while.
