Yes, the 9000ES will be replaced soon. Its p-scan quality lose big to the new Philips Q50 with Faroudja deinterlace chip. Audio out is okay but don't buy it if p-scan quality is important to you. Stick you your DV09 for now and there will be more SACD/pscan DVD players coming out early next year.JCW
