i am running a wega non progressive tv...and i have no plans of buying one. i am going to buy a marantz dvd player..but i dont know if i should save a buck and buy the dv4200....or spring for the more expensive wallet hurting progressive scan model dv6200. im not intersted in the progressive feature...but what about 3:2 pulldown....is it worth it to get that model just for that feature...how much better would it look...or is my wega not able to reap the benifets of this pulldown stuff. an added bonus is that the audio componets is better on the more expensive one...but then again im headed into a winter.....(less money months) and marantz is allready a dam fine lineup ....even the entry level has a sexyness to it. so i dont think i can go wrong...any help? also the marantz svhs recorder is awsome.....i highly recomend it. even over those tivo units. as a matter of fact..im selling my tivo and my denon dvd-800 player . i would rather have marantz build quality and the recording prowlness of the marantz 5100 svhs. the frame advance is like a dvd! crystal frame by frame. thanks.
