... as my reading is that the benefits of HDTV will only be evident on the larger screens. However I am interested to hear what others think and my thoughts are coloured by the picture we get here with PAL at 625 lines per inch - pun intended.FYI the HDTV situation in Australia is thoroughly confused and information on it scarce. We already have digital TV available on satellite (both pay & free to air) and digital TV is due to roll out on other broadcasts starting 2002. However most people here will not appreciate the difference with digital let alone HDTV, particularly those who seem happy to view absolutely appalling quality now!
