Hey!A guy posted to audioreview.com about this problem, rumored to be a faulty mute circuit (evidently something Marantz put in there so you wouldn't have to listen to noise between the tracks on analogue recordings.
Supposedly it only happens when you are using a digital connection (analog is ok), and only on analog recorded material, i.e. on AAD, but not DDD.
I haven't heard if Marantz is looking into the problem or not.
