No arguments from me. For short cable runs (two meters or less), I don't think I could reliably tell the difference between Radio Shack and top-of-the-line Monster Silver Video, at least between my Toshiba SD-3107 player and a Sony 36" XBR WEGA set. Dunno if the same can be said for long runs to video projection systems. FWIW, I use three of Tributaries Silver video cables for component video hookup between the DVD and the WEGA. This cable has one advantage: unlike the stiff Monster Silver video cables, Tributaries are very flexible and maintain 75 ohm impedance through tight bends.If you don't need the cable flexibility, save your money and use the cheap ones. Oh my gawd, I sound like mtry!
