(1) go to Best Buy and pick up "Matrix" on DVD. They currently have it for $15 with a $5 rebate. Total cost $10 + tax. Use this as your reference test disc.Turns out that "Matrix" is somehow mastered using a non-standard format. Some CHEAP players will NOT play this movie because they can't decode it properly. Better players seem to have no problem with it whatsoever, so this is a "quick and dirty" test to see just how good each player copes with it. Besides, it's a kick ass movie at a good price anyhow !!!!! Sean
