Hi Chris, like late said,sounds like you need a video switcher. I have one by Sima, its the SVS-4 A/V switcher.
Its a tremendous value at $149 (direct-online,or Best Buy). It has 4 A/V inputs (each one has S-video,composite video,L&R audio). It has auto switching mode or manual (with its own remote). It shuts itself off when there's no
signal at any inputs,turns itself on when it senses a signal. Basically set it and forget it. 2 sets of outputs
also. No visible artifacts that I can see. A very good product.
