Toshiba 3960 DVD player

Does anyone here know this player? It got a very favorable review in the new TPV and can be had through Amazon for $50.00. In my secondary office/guest bedroom system both the CD player and DVD player conked at about the same time and because the 3960 apparently has great CD audio I am very tempted. I don't need progressive scan because my wide screen TV in that system is analog. Thanks for any information.
