does coax cable quality matter?

I just got done reading how important specs are on the Cable Asylum to sound quality. Resistance, inductance, capacitance, impedance. Is there room for video improvement with regard to the coaxial cable of my antenna? I know RG-6 but is there a preferred model by Belden, etc? Connectors? I have roof mounted 20ft fm/vhf/uhf type, model unknown.
