Any experience with Panasonic Dig Amps??

A friend of mine recommend I look into the Panasonic digital amps (such as SA-XR70S). I was setting up a HT system and was thinking of buying the ARCAM AVR300 or Marantz AR8500. However, with the Panasonic I could spend more money on speakers.

Does anyone know much about the Panasonic Dig Amps? Any recommendations?
