some info on "the inventors"

Their two most popular models -- the 42" ED and 50" HD models -- use Panasonic glass.

The 63" model they had to source from Samsung because they wanted to offer a large display and, at the time of release, Panasonic didn't have their (1366x768) 65" version available at the time. I know someone who bought one of these and one of the first things he noticed was that the black levels were definitely not of Panasonic caliber. And if they actually go ahead with the release of the rumored 80" model, Samsung will be the provider of the glass.

The 42" HD and recently released 55" HD models are the only ones from the Fujitsu-Hitachi factory and are actually interlaced displays (I know it's crazy, but it's true).
