Greeting All,I just purchased a new DVD player (Panasonic SD97)and am now looking to run everything through proper cables. My set up is Samsung DLP 50" with 1 DVI input - sources are HD Cable box & DVD player each with HDMI outputs. I am currently running componant hook-ups for both.
I would like to run HDMI/DVI cables via a video switcher, however I don't really want to spend $250 on a video switcher. I found a passive unit that looks like it will do everything I need.
Any down sides to passive in the digital video world - i will be running very short cable runs of no more then 1 meter.
See link
Thanks,
MH
