I've been planning to buy a megachanger too. There are only two real choices; the Sony cx-995 400-disk changer, and the Pioneer F-727 301-disk changer. Sony has serious problems with disk data management (critical with a high capacity changer) but has 1080i scaling and an HDMI output. The Pioneer's video processing is obsolescent with no progressive scan or upsampling and no digital video out. The user reviews I've read give the Pioneer better grades for reliablity and ease of use. The Pioneer allows daisy-chaining but only with S-video cable. I'll probably get the Pioneer because my Pioneer Elite TV converts the image to 1080i.I'm baffled that there aren't more megachangers models available. Disk storage space and handling is a major problem for many people and a megachanger is a fantastic solution.
