Has anyone ever used a set of small powered speakers ( M-Audio, Event, Alesis, KRK, etc.) with a simple stereo TV? Ideally, I'd like to attach them by RCA cable to the audio jacks on the rear panel of my 27" Toshiba. Most of these studio monitor type speaker come with RCA, XLR, and 1/4" patch cable connectors. I'm not sure how doable this is ( or what the result would be ) and would appreciate any comments / suggestions.
