Idiot needs Reciever Advice

I bought a panasonic sa-ht830v home theatre system. I realized too late that it did not have enough component inputs for my needs (xbox360, and ps2) I have access to a nice onkyo reciever now, and Id like to use the old panasonic, which has DVD and VHS player built in as my DVD player. Problem is, that my speakers, sub-woofer inparticular is connected wit h a weird unique cable. Am I stuck with this clucnker? or ist there someother option? The system and speakers are adequate in every way for my apartment, its just that I need more inputs . What are your suggestions? any help is appreciated.
