I use a marantz HT receiver(8500) & have nothing but praise for it's music repro & HT performance even the on board audio dac's sound great when using an elite 59avi
as a transport.. I have no Yamaha gear so I can not comment on that....
But as in print reviews go,
both usually get high marks****....System: speakers: sonus faber(s)concertino L&R fronts solo(c) walls (r)
sunfire (sub)
