You will be missing 5.1 channel Dolby Digital or DTS. Pro Logic derives a phantom center and a a phantom rear channel from stereo material so what you are hearing are two real cahnnels and two derived channels (the rear channel may have two speakers but it is mono, not stereo). Plus, to my ears the Dolby Digital and DTS codecs are sweeter and more natural sounding than Pro Logic.
