Hi there

You have 2 very-highly regarded projectors, based on the ranking in this chart:
http://curtpalme.com/Projector_Rankings.shtm
That Barco can do all HDTV resolutions, 1080p, and more!

Value of CRT projectors is based primarily on the condition of the 3 tubes. A poor/bad installation/calibration or over-use can wear out the tubes quickly. CRT phospher burn (extreme wear) quickly reduces the value. Regardless, prices for used CRT projectors are a small fraction of the decade-old MSRP (over $30K each for your Barcos).

There's a small but active market for used CRT projectors. Check CRT projector sections of ebay, avsforum and videogon for typical prices. There's a lot of discussion in the CRT PJ forums of avsforum and curtpalme. And Curt's site has a ton of info on history, setup, and manuals for PJs.

Regards
