so far my experiences suggest that the step up in sonic differences to pcm from compressed soundtracks would be tough to enact at retail stores, and mass consumers may not be bothered, amid poorly system set-ups.dts-hd master audio and dolby digital truehd would be more sexy marketing catchwords, and explanating their discrete 8-ch sound would be more rewarding sales talk to mass consumers.
what do others think?
