hitachi 42"plasma in da house

picked up a new hitachi p42t501-
it has 1080 but for some reason its not called 1080p-

the blacks are as solid as my panny tube hdtv-
last night i was watching the bush race in hd and a movie on hbo-the quality was better than anything ive watched -

these are great tv's
