Is stop into a store that sells HDTVs in your area and ask them what you will need in your area. They will know!
I live in the Minneapolis area, about 25 miles from the Broadcasting towers. I have an antenna located in my attic and get great HD reception. I have never had cable. My PQ is outstanding!Cut-Throat
